Les concepts constituent un moyen essentiel utilisé pour atteindre les objectifs ou solutions souhaitées dans la conception d’un projet architectural. A travers, certains discours et écrits, relatifs au processus de conception architecturale, il a été constaté qu’il y’a une incompréhension dans l’utilisation des concepts et une confusion dans l’interprétation, des concepts par rapport aux idées et aux notions. Évidemment, une non maitrise ou une incompréhension de ces trois variables, peut induire à une incohérence dans la réflexion qui peut perturber les séquences de logique dans une démarche ou approche scientifique afin d’atteindre des solutions précises. Ainsi donc, le présent travail, s’inscrit dans la poursuite de réflexion concernant le processus de conception architecturale et dont l’objectif principal est d’explorer et de parcourir d’une manière explicite le concept en architecture et de mettre en évidence les cinq concepts les plus considérés dans la conception d’un projet architectural qui sont illustrés par Concept d’analogie, Concept de métaphore, Concept d’essence, Concept de programmation (probleme –solution), et le Concept d’idéal. The concepts constitute the main argument used to achieve goals or solutions desired in the design of an architectural project. Within some thoughts and certain written speeches relating to the architectural process of design, it was noted that it is incomprehension in the use of the concepts and a confusion in interpretation of the concept compared to ideas and notions. Obviously, none control or a confusion of these three variables, can induce an inconsistency in a argument which can disturb the sequences of logic in an approach of scientific order to reach precise solutions. Thus, this work falls under the continuation of studies concerning the architectural process of design whose main aim is to explore in an explicit way the concept in architecture and to highlight the five concepts most considered in the design of an architectural project.
