Une approche théorique est proposée pour le calcul de l'hystérésis d'un ressaut contrôlé par un seuil dénoyé à paroi épaisse dans un canal de section droite rectangulaire où l'écoulement incident est généré par la mise en place d'une vanne de fond et d'un déversoir à forte pente. L'attention est portée sur l'évaluation des nombres de Froude maximum et minimum compatibles avec la présence du ressaut sur le radier du bassin de dissipation d'énergie. Dans le cas de la configuration avec une vanne de fond, le développement théorique montre que ces nombres de Froude sont liés à la hauteur relative du seuil par des relations de troisième ordre dont la résolution est rendue aisée par les fonctions trigonométriques. Pour le cas de la configuration avec déversoir à forte pente, l'étude montre que le nombre de Froude maximal et la hauteur relative des seuils sont définis par une fonction involutive. A theoretical approach is proposed to compute the hysteresis of a controlled hydraulic jump by a broad crested sill in a rectangular channel, when the inflow is generated by a gate and by a standard spillway with an abrupt slope. The attention is focused on the calculation of both maximum and minimum inflow Froude number compatible with the formation of the hydraulic jump in the energy dissipator stilling basin. When the inflow is generated by a gate, the theoretical development shows that the inflow Froude number is linked to the relative sill height by a cubic equation which can be solved using trigonometric functions. When the inflow is generated by a standard spillway with an abrupt slope, the inflow Froude number and the relative sill are well defined by an involutive function.
